Meet Wolf, our offgrid mastermind—often called the ‘MacGyver’ of sustainable living. With incredible skill and hands-on dedication, he designed and installed the battery system, hybrid setup, and solar panels that power both our own home and the T3 chalet at Oasis Camp. Rain or shine, and even in the blazing heat (and after a few bee stings!), Wolf always makes sure everything runs smoothly and independently. Thanks to him, our offgrid dream is a fully functional reality.
During our time in the Algarve, we met an inspiring man originally from South Africa. He shared a heartfelt story about his father, who ended up in the hospital due to drinking contaminated water. Motivated by this, he now sells innovative water systems that transform the air we breathe into clean, safe drinking water—an incredible solution for remote and offgrid living. When a recent power outage hit the area, we were especially grateful to have unlimited access to fresh water, thanks to this remarkable technology.
Absolutely! Kids can roam free and play outside all day with other children. There’s a natural swimming pool, a playground, farm animals to cuddle, pool tables, a large Dome with activities, and regular BBQs and surf lessons. A true paradise for adventurous little explorers!
Yes! On-site you’ll find a cozy outdoor bar and a restaurant at Oasis Surfcamp, offering fresh meals, snacks, and drinks in a laid-back setting. There are also regular BBQ nights and shared dinners in the Dome.
